Abbie is a college English instructor and writer living in New Hampshire with her husband and two kids. She grew up on the coast of Maine and attended college in Santa Barbara, California. She has also lived in Connecticut and Portland, Oregon, never straying far from the sea.

She earned a degree in fiction from the Mountainview MFA, and an MA in Literature from Fordham University.  She teaches composition, literature, and creative writing online for Southern New Hampshire University.
